No, I was never aware of bitlocker. Never did anything with it its just shut down my device one day
BitLocker JOKE
thanks for nothing Microsoft "Support" not only am I locked out of my Surface I'm facing hours of lost information right before finals week.
I do not want to hear it was user error. I am a college student with plenty of IT background. If I would have know these devices were defective you would have never received my money. Now I'm out 500 dollars and hours of information
anyone who is not "Support" for Microsoft please feel free to give me feedback. As for now you will never have another penny of my hard earned money.
Sincerely, Apple Costumer

2015-12-09T03:01:47+00:00 Jim,
My surface 3 tablet was working fine this morning as a was doing homework in a word document. I shut it off went to class come back and i received a blue screen saying i needed a bit locker key/code. the problem is I did not not prior that you needed to set up a bitlocker key code and now there is no way to get onto the computer. after hours of trying to fix the problem i gave up and even hit the reset option which is supposed to wipe it clean, and nothing it won't work nothing will function and there is no way of getting around it ( that I'm aware of)
