Windows update error 800FO831

I am using Windows 8.1 and cannot update....I get error 800Fo831 and the message update failed??  any suggestions?

    Same error message.  I also ran SFC /scannow, and it "found corrupt files but was unable to fix some of them."

    try running this script as an Administrator(Wureset.bat) and check if it fixes the problem .Reply back with the results.

    I also have this problem.  When  I run the Update trouble shooter it tells me that "One or more Windows Update components are configured incorrectly."   This information does not help me without telling me how or what part or where to fix it, etc.
