Windows 8.1 pro update problem

Anonymous

When I check for updates on my pc it keeps on working indefinitely. I have not received any updates since 31/12/2014. Last update installed was Windows 8.1 Update for x64-based Systems (KB2919355) Installation date: ‎31/‎12/‎2014 10:51 Installation status: Succeeded

Previously I used to receive updates automatically but now I keep on checking for updates but none are received and the checking goes on and on till I switch off my pc.

Kindly advise on how to solve the problem.

Thanks

    Hello

Here are the results of sfc/scannow

    Microsoft Windows [Version 6.3.9600]

    (c) 2013 Microsoft Corporation. All rights reserved.

    C:\WINDOWS\system32>sfc/scannow

Beginning system scan.  This process will take some time.

Beginning verification phase of system scan.

    Verification 100% complete.

Windows Resource Protection found corrupt files but was unable to fix some

of them. Details are included in the CBS.Log windir\Logs\CBS\CBS.log. For

example C:\Windows\Logs\CBS\CBS.log. Note that logging is currently not

    supported in offline servicing scenarios.

How can I fix this please?
