Receivng false alerts from Comet sensor monitor in SCOM

Hi All,

We are receiving comet temperature monitor alerts in SCOM when temperature reached to 9.9,But override value is set to 30 for this monitor.
Can any one let us help how we can identify reason for this alert.

SCOM version :SCOM 2012 R2
Management pack: Comet.Sensors (Version :1.0.0.83)
Monitoring target: Comet Temperature Sensor

    Hi,

    For our problem, we may need to review the management pack since the workflow may be defined in it. Is there any chance for us to contact the technical support of vendor since they may have more resources for the management packs?

    Hi,

    Alex has a point here, you need to look at the MP. Is this a vendor specific MP or was it developed using the Extensible Network Monitoring Management Pack Generator tool?
