As per the description, you are experiencing issue with USB Controller driver errors on the system.

This issue might have occurred if the hardware drivers are corrupted in the system or due to the incompatibility of the Device Drivers with Windows 8.1 Operating System.
I would suggest you to try the following methods and check if it helps.
Method 1:
Run the Hardware Troubleshooter and check if it helps.
Note:
The Hardware Troubleshooter is an automated tool which checks the hardware on the computer for any known issues and provides the details on how to fix them. Follow these steps to run the troubleshooter.
- Press “Windows Logo” + “W” keys from the keyboard.
- Type “Troubleshooting” in the search bar and press “Enter”.
- In the “Troubleshooting” window, click on “View All” on the left pane.
- Click on “Hardware and Devices”.
- Click on “Advanced” and then click on “Run as Administrator”.
- Click “Next” and follow the on-screen instructions to complete the troubleshooting process.
If the issue persists, please follow method 2.
Method 2:
**Let’s try to uninstall and reinstall the USB Controller and check if it helps.**Please follow the steps given below.
- Disconnect the USB device from the computer.
- Press “Windows Logo” + “R” keys on the keyboard and type “devmgmt.msc” in the “Run” Command box and press “Enter”.
- Expand “Universal Serial Bus Controllers”.
- Right-click on every device under the “Universal Serial Bus Controllers” node, and then click “Uninstall” to remove them one at a time.
- Follow the on-screen instructions to complete it and the restart the computer if prompted.
After the restart, you may again open the Device Manager and then click on the “Scan for hardware changes” button at the top of the
Device Manager window and check if Windows 8.1 detects the USB Controller devices on the computer and installs the appropriate drivers.
If the issue persists, please follow method 3.
Method 3:
I would suggest you to download and install all the latest
chipset drivers and Hardware Drivers from the manufacture’s website.
Also I would suggest you to install BIOS driversfrom the manufacturer website.
Note: Modifying BIOS/ complementary metal oxide semiconductor (CMOS) settings incorrectly can cause serious problems that may prevent your computer from booting properly. Microsoft cannot guarantee
that any problems resulting from the configuring of BIOS/CMOS settings can be solved. Modifications of the settings are at your own risk.
