Hi,

I have the following SQL error occurring when trying to connect to a SQL server on the same domain/Vlan. Does anyone know if they have had a similiar issue?

  1. Windows Firewall is disabled
  2. SQL server started
  3. TCP/IP protocol enabled
  4. Database configured to accept remote connections
  5. The login account has access permission

a network related or instance specific error occurred while establishing a connection to sql server. The server was not or was not accessible. Verify that the instance name is correct and that SQL server is configured to allow remote connections.  (provider: Named pipes provider, error 0 - No connection could be made because the target machine actively refused it
