    Hi Munib,

You are getting this error message due to the corrupted booting files even in the disc. I suggest you to perform startup repair and check if it helps.

Startup Repair is a Windows recovery tool that can fix certain system problems that might prevent Windows from starting. Startup Repair scans your computer for the problem and then tries to fix it so your computer can start correctly.

You can refer to the following article to perform startup repair.

What are the system recovery options in Windows?

Note: You can also create a system repair disc that contains the System Recovery Options menu. For more information, seeCreate a system repair disc.

Please post back with the status of the issue and we will be happy to assist you further.

The thing is that the computer won't let me, I have already tried it but none of the F1,F8,F12,F11 none of the F keys work, they just keep bringing me back to this page. Btw the computer is running windows 7 and is Hp G60. I can buy a windows 7 repair dics but then i am scared that when I put it in it might say

Batch file F:\DOSMENU.BAT missing and that will waste my time and my money. If the installion disc is my only option then I can try but I was looking for alternative ways to solve it

    Hi Munib,

Thank you for the update and apologies for late response.

You must require a repair disc in order to run startup repair. You can also perform system restore as suggested earlier.
