DID NOT LOAD DRIVER

I was getting a " no signal " message on booting, just wouldn't get past that .I have a Vista-Win.7 dual boot.I managed to get into Vista by connecting to the on board graphics & through that into windows 7 which I had to clean install. Both now work but I still have problems.

I even bought a new graphics card but if I connect to it,i just get the " no signal " I was getting with the other card.

So I'm using the onboard graphics.

When I boot up it's slow & I get this message. Press F1 to continue or delete to enter bios to reload the boot defaults.I've done this afew times now but I still get that message.

Today I thougt I'd look at other things in safe mode.i did the boot login thing & stacks of system 32 drivers were logged, but I found 5 that did not load.

Systemroot\system32\drivers\vga.sys

----------------"----------------\nd proxy.sys     ( this was shown 3 times with the same ending

----------------"-----------------\srv.sys

These don't mean anything to me except maybe,VGA has something to do with the graphics connection.

Any help appreciated.

The new graphics card is still in but not connected & I have all the details I need to remove & return it,hopefully for a refund.

The gt610 card is installed ( fitted ) in the PC,if I connect to it I just get no signal on the monitor, just doesn't load anything.

I'm connected now through the on board graphics,i disconnect the cable from the GT610 & leave it in place, connect to the on board.

It's slow, around 3-4 mins but it loads & I get the page telling me that there is the boot problem & go into the bios & reset defaults or press -- to continue.

For some reason if I now press -- I'm getting a Microsoft pop up giving me information about explorer 11 but I guess that's for another day.

See first post for press --

Onboard graphic's would be disabled if another gpu is installed

So if you're not connected to the newer graphic's card = gpu then no signal would be normal.

You can always upload a picture it would state a thousand words of the back of the machine

But normally you'd use the same cable to the new graphic's card and that's about all.

You should get some type of display albeit not great until you install the driver which there should be a cd with an old driver on that came with the gpu.

Thanks for your response. The graphic card I installed into the PCI slot is a NVidia GT610 & it has dvi/vga/hdmi but this is the one that doesn't connect at all,i just get,no signal.

I've managed to connect through the onboard graphics card vga, which is, Nvidida GeForce 7050 /nforce 610i,there is obviously the vga port which i'm connected to.All types of connections around the vga but what is on the card,i don't I know.

The things connected at the moment are the keyboard, printer & the internet connection.i've not bothered connecting any audio  at the moment

As you probably gather I'm not all that familiar with the tech aspects of computers.

What graphic's cards are you using exactly ?

Do either of them have ports for additional wiring on them ?

How are you connecting to the monitor dvi/ vga/ hdmi ?
