movie maker loop

I do not see any loop icon for clicking it to view a video one time.  Where is it?

The thing to do is to save your video as a movie.

File > Save movie.

That will create a video file (.mp4 or .wmv format). Then you can play that in your Windows Media Player and it will play once (or you can toggle looping with Ctrl+T).

As for changing how the video previews *inside* of Movie Maker, there aren't any settings to change that.
