Resetting password

Question

I have not used my Nextbook in eight months. Can't remember my password. Didn't create a reset disk. How can I start over? The  is nothing on the tablet so no data to lose if I reset. HELP!

There were two answers, but neither read my question correctly. Both referred to resetting the account on my PC, which did NOT need resetting.

I did some direct follow-up with the Nextbook support team and was successful in resetting/re-registering.

If you've forgotten your Windows password, there are several ways to retrieve or reset it:

The manufacturer should have a built-in method to reinstall the operating system by pressing particular Keys.

Ask them about this.
