I have some BSODs that show up from time to time and I don't understand the minidump files.

My minidumps can be found at:

https://onedrive.live.com/?id=13511480866954F4!135&cid=13511480866954F4

Any help would be appreciated. Thanks a lot.

Hi.

BugCheck 1E, {ffffffffc0000005, fffff80002d7daf5, 0, ffffffffffffffff}

Probably caused by : memory_corruption ( nt!MmCreateSection+395 )

BugCheck 24, {1904fb, fffff88002811e78, fffff880028116d0, fffff80002aa88de}

BugCheck 3B, {c0000005, fffff80002a902a5, fffff88004628f40, 0}

Probably caused by : ntkrnlmp.exe ( nt!KiSystemServiceHandler+7c )

ntkrnlmp.exe is a Windows component which mean something else drove it into

1. Check with Gigabit Support, their on-line documentation, and drivers. Update the

BIOS, chipset drivers and the major on-board and separate device drivers (see driver

update methods below). Also the check for later versions at Intel and the other device

makers.

Avast was running during two of BSOD events and can cause instability.

2. Uninstall Avast and the run its Removal Tool to prevent remnants. Use MSE - Free

instead.

3. Check the memory very thoroughly (see memory test methods below).

4. As needed use ALL the other methods in the troubleshooters below.

5. If needed run Driver Verifier to see if it can indicate a CAUSE (see Driver Verifier

methods below.

The primary cause of this Bug_Check is disk issues however it can be caused

by memory problems and even antivirus/antispyware/security programs.

Many Bluescreens are caused by BIOS, low level chipset drivers, and other major device drivers which are not the most current even though the computer is new. Check manually for updates using the methods for updates as indicated in the troubleshooter linked below.

Using Driver Verifier

http://www.faultwire.com/solutions/using\_driver\_verifier.php

You can disable Driver Verifier

http://support.microsoft.com/kb/244617

Start - type in Search box -> verifier /reset      hit enter to disable

Use BlueScreenView to see if there is a driver specified in the error message. Also check with MyEventViewer at the time of the BlueScreen.

If DriverVerifier creates a minidump upload it and provide a link to it so we can analyze it.

References to Vista also apply to Windows 7.

This is my generic how to for proper driver updates : (Check for BIOS and driver

updates.)

This utility makes it easy to see which versions are loaded : Run DriverView - set VIEW

to Hide Microsoft drivers - update those without Dump in their names. (Also update

the BIOS and chipset drivers.)

DriverView - Free - utility displays the list of all device drivers currently loaded on your system. For each driver in the list, additional useful information is displayed: load address of the driver, description, version, product name, company that created the driver, and more.

http://www.nirsoft.net/utils/driverview.html

For Drivers check System Maker as fallbacks and Device Maker's which are the most current. Control Panel - Device Manager - Display Adapter - write down the make and complete model of your video adapter - double click - Driver's tab - write down the version info. Now click UPdate Driver (this may not do anything as MS is far behind certifying drivers) - then Right Click - Uninstall - REBOOT this will refresh the driver stack.

Repeat that for Network - Network Card (NIC), Wifi, Sound, Mouse and Keyboard if 3rd partywith their own software and drivers and any other major device drivers you have.

Now go to System Maker's site (Dell, HP, Toshiba as examples) (as rollback) and then Device Maker's site (Realtek, Intel, Nvidia, ATI as examples) and get their latest versions. (Look for BIOS, Chipset and software updates at System Maker's site while there.)

Download - SAVE - go to where you put them - Right Click - RUN AD ADMIN - REBOOT after each installation.

Always check in Device Manager - Drivers tab to be sure the version you are installing actually shows up. This is because some drivers rollback before the latest is installed (sound drivers particularly do this) so install a driver - reboot - check to be sure it is installed and repeat as needed.

Repeat at Device Makers - BTW at Device Makers DO NOT RUN THEIR SCANNER - check

manually by model.

Manually look at manufacturer's sites for drivers - and Device Maker's sites.

Installing and updating drivers in Windows 7 (updating drivers manually using the methods above is preferred to ensure the latest drivers from System maker and Device makers are found)

http://www.sevenforums.com/tutorials/43216-installing-updating-drivers-7-a.html

If you update drivers manually then it is a good idea to disable Driver Installations in Windows Updates, this leaves Windows Updates ON however it will not install drivers which will usually be older and cause issues. If Updates suggests a new driver then HIDE it (Right Click on it) and then go look for new ones manually if you wish.

Memory tests do not catch all errors such as mismatched memory (possible even for sticks

that appear to be identical) and when faster memory is placed in system behind slower memory. So it is best to also swap sticks in and out to check for those even if all memory tests fail to show a problem.

To test RAM check here - let it run 4+ hours or so.  <-- best methodwww.memtest.org

For the Windows Memory Diagnostic Tool.

Start - type in Search box ->  Memory - find Memory Diagnostics tool at top of list - Right Click - RUN AS ADMIN follow the instructions

Thank you for your fast reply.

I tried it with Windows Debug Tool but I didn't understand the problem very well and I can't find out what is the source of problems.

This is the good link to minidumps:

    Hi,

That link says "Item no longer exists or is no longer available".

We can analyze the minidumps if you make them available from the OneDrive or other file sharing sites (such as MediaFire). If you have problems

uploading the minidumps copy them to the Desktop or the Documents folder

    and upload them from there.

Also do this so you can see the likely bluescreens.

Windows Vista automatically restarts if your PC encounters an error that causes

Check with these utilities to see if any information can be gathered :  (Info is much

    easier to read and post.)

This is an excellent tool for posting Blue Screen Error Information

BlueScreenView - Free - scans all your minidump files created during 'blue

screen of death' crashes, and displays the information about all crashes in

    one table.

MyEventViewer can be checked at the time of the Crash to with-in a second or so

of the time of the Event to provide more information as to possible cause - see TIP.

MyEventViewer - Free - a simple alternative to the standard event viewer of

Windows. TIP - Options - Advanced Filter allows you to see a time frame instead

of the whole file - set it to a bit before and after the time of the Event.

    http://www.nirsoft.net/utils/my\_event\_viewer.html

AppCrashView - Free - a small utility for Windows Vista, 7, 8/8.1, & 10 that displays the details of all application crashes occurred in your system. The crashes information

is extracted from the .wer files created by the Windows Error Reporting (WER)

component of the operating system every time that a crash is occurred.

AppCrashView also allows you to easily save the crashes list to text/csv/html/xml

    file.

    Hope this helps.
