SQL Server 2008 version 10.50.4000 installation problems.

I am having a problem installing SQL Server 2008 (version 10.50.4000). I have spent almost 2 days trying to figure it out. All I need is SQL Server version 10.50.4000 on my Windows Server 2008 R2. The SQL installation wizard that comes with it doesn't work (I click install, a command prompt screen appears and disappears quickly, then nothing). I have tried updating from an older version, which failed because I don't have the version I am trying to update to...

All I need is SQL Server 2008 R2 version 10.50.4000. Could someone give me a link(s) to the download so I can use the download manager since downloading normally only gives an error? I don't care if I have to install then update, I can manage that. But I need the right downloads.

This question is outside the scope of this site (for consumers) and to be sure you get the best (and quickest) answer it should be asked either on Technet (for IT Pro's) or MSDN (for developers)
