    Hi,

This problem is usually caused by corrupted Windows system files.

To resolve it, right click the Start button and click Command Prompt (Admin).

Type: sfc /scannow and click OK.

If you get an error message, make a note of it and then post it here without paraphasing please.

    Hi,

Thank you for contacting Microsoft Community.

Please confirm the make and model of the system ?

You may try uninstalling the touchpad drivers from Device Manager and check if it helps.

Follow the steps to uninstall the Graphics card driver:

    a.       Press Windows + X keys and then click Device Manger.

    b.      Search for Pointing Devices.

    c.       Right click the Touchpad (it may be listed as Synaptic touchpad) and click uninstall.

    d.      Follow the prompt and restart the computer.

Please reply with the status of the issue, so that we could help you better.
