Event Log Code

I am having issues with my ASUS laptop.  I am noticing a delay in typing of letters and also that the border around open windows is flashing between dark blue and light blue.  I went into the event log and have been getting this error code:

I have been  using Windows 8.1 but am currently downloading Windows 10.  Any suggestions to remedy this issue?  Thanks

    Please run a system file check (SFC) & DISM  if you are on win 8 or higher
