Microsoft Partners SCAM

Anonymous
2016-02-22T22:39:28+00:00

I have recently been getting calls from 202.798.7300 claiming to be 'tech support from Microsoft Partners'.  They claim they need remote access to my PC to run a routine check of my operating system.

I have blocked them but wanted folks to be aware of such a scam.

For other users reading this, here is my standard reply to the many many threads on same topic:

    That's a scam!

Do not allow access to your computer.

Just hang up on those scammers.

Microsoft doesn't call you if you didn't ask them to call you.

Do not trust unsolicited calls. Do not provide any personal information.
