Hello Rizky,

Thank you for visiting Microsoft Community.

As I have understood, you are experiencing issue with USB microphone not working on the system.

In order to understand the issue more clearly, I would request you to kindly provide me with the following information.

  1. Did you make any specific changes prior to this issue?
  2. Have you checked with any other microphone, if it’s working?
  3. Have you installed the correct drivers for the Microphone?
  4. Are you getting any error message? If yes, what is the exact error message along with the error code?

In the meantime, I would suggest you to try the following methods and check if that helps.

Method 1:

Run Recording Audio Troubleshooter ****

Open the Record Audio troubleshooter by clicking the Start button, and then clicking Control Panel. In the search box, type troubleshooter, and then click Troubleshooting. Under Hardware and Sound, click Troubleshoot audio recording.‌ If you're prompted for an administrator password or confirmation, type the password or provide confirmation.

Please refer to the link given below for further assistance.

Open the Recoding Audio troubleshooter

If the issue still persists, follow method 2

Method 2:

Set Microphone as Default:

I would recommend you to use one microphone at a time and also let us make sure that microphone is set as default. Please refer to the steps mentioned below to set Microphone as default:

  1. Go to Start and click on control Panel.
  2. Click in Sound, then a new window will open up.
  3. In the new windows click on the tab "Recording" and right click in the window and click on Show Disabled devices.
  4. Now check if Microphone is listed there and right click on it and choose enable.
  5. Highlight that Microphone and click on "Set as Default"

If the issue still persists, follow method 3

Method 3:

Try updating the sound drivers:

I would recommend you to download and install the Windows 7 Audio drivers from the manufacturer's website.

For more information:

Please refer to the articles given below and check if that helps.

Update a driver for hardware that isn’t working properly
