Hi Shannon,
Thank you for posting your query in Microsoft Community.
- Have you installed any third party antivirus software?
- Do you use any proxy connection?
Error code 0x80072f78 is caused because of temporary connection-related issue. Let's try the following steps and check.
Step 1: Disable Proxy connection if you are using.
a. Start Internet Explorer.
b. Click Internet Options on the Tools menu.
Note: If the Tools menu is not displayed, press ALT to display the Tools menu.
c. Click the Connection tab, and then click on LAN settings.
d. Uncheck the “Use a proxy server for your LAN check box”.
e. Select and check "Automatically detect settings" under "Automatic Configuration"
f. After above step try opening website and check if the issue persists.
Step 2: Disable security software and check.
Important: Antivirus software can help protect your computer against viruses and other security threats. In most cases, you shouldn't disable your antivirus software. If you have to temporarily disable it to install other software, you should re-enable it as soon as you're done. If you're connected to the Internet or a network while your antivirus software is disabled, your computer is vulnerable to attacks.
Step 3: I would suggest you to re-register the Store App and check.
a. Press Windows key + Q button from the keyboard.
b. Type Command Prompt in the search box.
c. On the left pane, right click on the Command Prompt option and select Run as Administrator.
d. Type the following command and press Enter.
powershell -ExecutionPolicy Unrestricted Add-AppxPackage -DisableDevelopmentMode -Register $Env:SystemRoot\WinStore\AppxManifest.xml
Hope this information is helpful. Please feel free to reply in case you face any other issues with Windows in future.
