error code: 0x80780169 windows 7: shadow copy

I upgraded to windows 10 from win 7.

I was creating system image from the control panel: Backup 7 Restore (windows 7): Create a system image.

I used DL DVD (8.5 GB). it copied 3 DVD's then it couldn't copy the fourth. Then I used 4.7 GB for the 4th. It managed to copy it. Then I used a DL DVD for the fifth DVD. But backup of volume C: has failed.

It gave me the following error message:

Create a system image

The backup failed.

Backup failed as shadow copy on source volume got deleted. This might caused by high write avtivity on the volume. Please retry the backup. If the issue persists consider increasing shadow copy storage using 'VSSADMIN Resize ShadowStorage' command. (0x80780169)

close

I found the following syntax:

Vssadmin resize shadowstorage

Command-Line Syntax Key

Vssadmin list shadowstorage

I don't know why the error happened? What if I restarted system image creation again without the command?

N.B.: I ran the system image successfully in win 7 on the same laptop before upgrading to win 10 & it went successfully, but I used 4.7 GB DVD's only.

Where should I run that command: in DOS command prompt?

what should I write in the for & on? C? in both of them?

what's the max size should I write? 9 GB will work for both 4.7 & 8.5 DVD's?

I ran the following command in DOS command prompt:

c:\>vssadmin list shadowstorage /for=c& it gave me the following error:vssadmin 1.1 - Volume Shadow Copy Service administrative command-line tool(C) Copyright 2001-2013 Microsoft Corp.Error: You don't have the correct permissions to run this command.  Please run this utility from a commandwindow that has elevated administrator privileges. How can I overcome that (to have admin). I'm now logged in as local account administrator in win 10?

I didn't use the VSSADMIN command because I didn't understand it.

The laptop manufacturer said that problems might happen with DL DVD's (8.5 GB). So I created the system image using 4.7 GB DVD's & it worked.

    Thanks for your help.

I didn't go to the above links because I wanted to finish the process quickly & use that laptop.
