Hello,

When trying to use ctrl+p to print from any application in windows 7 nothing happens.  This started a few weeks ago and I have removed any software that was installed after that point.  One thing I did find was if I press both ctrl buttons and p then release one ctrl button the print screen comes up.  I have tried REMing the Hkey registry for both local machine and current user and nothing has worked so far.  Please help!!

One possibility you should check is to see if your keyboard is failing.  Try using a different keyboard to see if the problem persists.

It's a laptop.  I have tried an external keyboard and the problem persists.

Is the built-in keyboard disabled when the USB keyboard is connected?

Does the problem persist when using the On-screen keyboard? Control Panel> Ease of access.

    Don
