does anyone have detailed how to documentation on "how to migrate file server from windows server 2008 R2 to windows server 2019 R2"

    Note: Windows Server 2019 "R2" does not exist, it's simply "Windows Server 2019".

    thanks for sparing time to answer the querions, but i need the detailed process to migrate my Physical 2k8R2 to virtual environment with file server folders and their permittions.

    do you have any case study or white papers will be the great help.

    and what will be the best way to migrate the File server with share permitions to new Infra.

    user directly the storage migration service

    or 1st migrate the server from physical to VM and than do this excersise.

    please help me out.
