BizTalk Accelerator for HL7 failed to connect SQL

Hi All,

I installed BizTalk 2020 enterprise edition successfully in Sql server 2019 enterprise edition cluster environment. But using the same user account when installing the BizTalk HL7 accelerator throwing error like 'failed to connect the sql server. Start the sql server to correct the problem'. Even the test connection throwing the same error.

Sql server is up and running and the user through which I am installing the HL7 have the BizTalk administrator privilege and also the user as sql sysadmin rights.

Could anyone help me on this?

    Hi Vivek,

    We had the same issue. Based on our investigation, it needs SQL Server 2012 Native Client component to be installed first. It can be found at https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/download/details.aspx?id=50402

    Once downloaded and installed, everything should be fine.
