Incompatible Application

Hello.I have a compatibility problem.So basically im using Windows 7 Ultimate.I downloaded a game,game released this year,but there starts problem.When i try to open the game it says ''The version of this file is not compatible with the version of Windows you're running...''I have 32-bit system.But when i go to properties,compatibility there's only Windows Vista,Windows Vista(service pack 1 and 2) and Windows Server 2008.So can i fix this,and play it on Windows XP service pack 3 or something?

    That's the problem then.  A 32 bit program can run on a 64 bit OS, but a 64 bit program will not run on a 32bit OS.

    Is the game for 64 bit windows only? If so it will not run on 32 bit windows.
