Windows Server Backup

On a Windows Small Business Server 2011 Standard, Windows Server Backup started producing a strange error where there would be a partial failure every other day. Successful on one day but "completed with warnings" the next and so forth. It is configured to back both C and E drives - on the days when there is an error, it backups the C drive but not the E drive.

The error message in the Event Viewer is "The backup operation that started at '‎2016‎-‎05‎-‎27T06:00:20.348626900Z' has completed with errors. Please review the event details for a solution, and then rerun the backup operation once the issue is resolved." Another listing in the Event Viewer says "The backup operation that started at '‎2016‎-‎05‎-‎27T06:00:20.348626900Z' has failed to back up volume(s) 'E:'." In Windows Server Backup, it simply says "More data is available" for the E drive.

Anyone have any clues why it works one day but not the next? XML of the error listed below.
