Persistent Blue Screen

My parents HP laptop keeps giving them the attached blue screen, and when I try to boot in safe mode it doesn't start and just restarts with the blue screen again. Sometimes I also get the attached error screen, is there any way to get my parents files off this laptop?

    1. Since how long are you facing this issue?

    -about 2 weeks according to them

    2. Have you made any changes to your computer settings prior to this issue?

    -not according to them

    3. What is the make and model of your computer?

    -HP Pavilion G7 laptop, with an A4 AMD Dual Core chip and Windows 7

    I've seemed to fix the problem by replacing the RAM. Thank you for your help./

    1. Since how long are you facing this issue?
    2. Have you made any changes to your computer settings prior to this issue?
    3. What is the make and model of your computer?

    Chkdsk disclaimer

    Important: While performing chkdsk on the hard drive if any bad sectors are found on the hard drive when chkdsk tries to repair that sector if any data available on that might be lost.

    Note: Make sure that you back up the data before proceeding with Check disk.
