How to troubleshoot errors that occur when you join Windows-based computers to a domain
This browser is no longer supported.
Upgrade to Microsoft Edge to take advantage of the latest features, security updates, and technical support.
This is ... very ... bizzare.
Every time I freshly install Windows 10, the install works. The machine can see its local disk(s) when I open Windows Explorer.
After joining Active Directory, The machine cannot see any disks. The only section displayed in Windows Explorer is the "Folders" section that has Downloads, Documents, Pictures, etc.
I can navigate to c: or d: or whatever, but they are not displayed in either the left hand navigation pane, nor in the main display pane.
The same goes for mapped network drives. I can manually browse to my networked "H:", and when I run net use in powershell, I see all my networked paths and drive letters, but they do not display in Windows Explorer.
I've tried various different registry settings, disabling hidden empty drives, etc. There has to be something going on with a GPO, but I can't find it. Nothing, short of recovering the entire OS, will get Windows Explorer to display the local or mapped network drives, and then, only until I join it to Active Directory.
Has anyone got any ideas?

Hi,
Firstly ,I would suggest you check the gpo settings for the computers and users by the gpresult:
Run CMD as administrator you will get all the policies for the computer :gpresult /h report1.html
Run the cmd as the logon user ,you will get all the policies for the user:gpresult /h report2.html
If possible , you can share a screenshot here(Please hide the private information here)。
Best Regards,
