RUNDLL error please help

Question

I received an error popup whilst playing league of legends which minimizes the game each time it pops up which has been increasing in  how many times it pops up in the course of an hour for the past 2 days. While writing this post I've had it pop up 6 times. If I try to run certain applications such as CCleaner or a registry cleaner it says "unable to start application, press okay to close the application"

I ran an sfc /scannow in the command prompt and it came back with "found some corrupt files but was unable to fix all of them"

Here is the results. PLEASE any help is appreciated I havn't found anything searching all over the internet on this and it's beginning to drive me insane as all I want to do is be able to play my game in peace....

This issue may occur due to a missing or corrupted Rundll.exe file, conflict between softwares on the computer or due to virus infection.

Method 1:

Let's boot the computer to Safe Mode to check if the issue occurs in Safe Mode. If the issue does not occur in Safe Mode then you may try set the computer in Clean Boot state to find which startup item or service is causing the issue.

Step 1: Boot the computer to safe mode.

Boot the computer to Safe Mode. In Safe Mode computer starts with minimal set of drivers and files.

Step 2:

If the issue do not occur in Safe Mode perform a clean boot and check. Setting the system in a clean boot state will help to identify if any third party applications or startup items are causing the issue.

Warning :

After clean boot troubleshooting steps, follow the section "How to reset the computer to start as usual after troubleshooting with clean boot" in the provided link to return your computer to Normal startup mode.

Method 2:

If the issue persists, I suggest you to run virus scan to make sure the computer is free from virus. The Microsoft Safety Scanner is a free downloadable security tool that provides on-demand scanning and helps remove virus, spyware, and other malicious software. It works with your existing antivirus software.

Warning:

1) The Microsoft Safety Scanner expires 10 days after being downloaded. To rerun a scan with the latest anti-malware definitions, download and run the Microsoft Safety Scanner again. 

2) If you run the virus scan the program that is infected with virus will get deleted. So you have to reinstall the program. Also if the files and folders are affected with virus then they might even get deleted.

Also, I'm aware that some viruses or malware can disguise themselves as a system file in hopes that you will delete the system file which will harm your computer, which is why I'm hesitant on deleting the file because I know it's a system file.
