Return to default sounds:
Control Panel, Hardware and Sound, change system sounds
Sound driver may need to be installed/re-installed. Go to OEM support page and download the driver.
Possibly he/she installed the wrong driver.
Computer sounds when a program opens or closes

Without my OK, my computer downloaded Windows 10 automatically. I brought it to my fix it shop to have Windows 7 put back on. When that was done I found that none of my sounds play when a program opens or closes except for when my emails finish loading and are ready for display. The fix it shop could not figure out why this happened and are still trying to get a fix on it. Any ideas ?
