0x80072EFE means the connection to the update servers was aborted. Usually, it is a temporary error but itmay also indicate that malware is present on the system if this error only starting occurringrecently.
Be sure you empty temporary internet files and reboot the computer.
*Internet Options> General tab> Browsing History> Delete> Put a check mark next to these items: "Preserve Favorites website data", “Temporary Internet Files”, “Cookies”, “History”, “Passwords*”, etc.
