muweb.dll

This query comes directly from my ongoing battle with Win 7 MS Updateson my office pc.

Trying another fix for the second time, I had to re-register via

regsvr32.exe

various .dll files. Some were in use by the System, but all were extant within WINDOWS. But then there was muweb.dll. It is said to be in System 32. The .dll did not exist anywhere in WINDOWS, and a search of my other pc, which isn't having Update problems, showed that it didn't have it, either. According to Web information, it seems to have XP and VISTA connexions.

Any advice, please?

    And my second question...?

Are you seeing "muweb.dll cannot be found" or similar warnings?

Have you ever encountered a "Windows is not Genuine" warning?

    How about?...

Thanks for the reply. Info: I am retired from self-employment, and the pc is mine: I just designate it "Office", as I do most of my logistic work on it.

Anyway, I really only wanted to know about the muweb.dll.
