What is \Device\mfehidk01.sys ? I run The AVG virus scanner, and it keeps picking this up. I remove it and about a week or so later it's there again on another scan. I don't know why it's keeps coming up, what it is, and if I should be worried about it. So is it any thing to worry about, and if not what should i do to resolve it?

Joseph,

Since AVG detected the thrəat, you may want to submit the file to their lab. Once a file is received, a resəarcher can examine it in more detail and provide a report letting you know the results.

I sent the file name to AVG, I couldn't find the actual file on my pc probably because i had already removed it as a threat.

I also talked to a Microsoft agent on the phone about why my wallpaper wasn't working, and he said that this file was a necessary file for windows to work properly.
