I have a Dell laptop running windows 8.1. I never had these problems before on this laptop until they suddenly started happening and I'm not sure why or what caused them. The text in applications like Visual Studio and even unrelated applications like the Minecraft launcher has font that is blurry and in visual studio if I select or hover my mouse over the font, the font becomes clear for a short while. Sometimes it will get too blurry to read. Other applications like Chrome do not have this problem. My second problem is that some games on steam crash once I launch them. reinstalling them does not help and I could not find any help online for my issue. Some games do work however but most of them don't. The games have worked before and they still worked when the other applications started to show blurry font so I'm not sure if there is a correlation or not. Here is the crash details for when I launch Portal 2:

Steam games are not the only applications that are crashing. I do have other apps that are not related to Steam but still crash with similar details upon launch. When I click on the option to debug the problem, I get another crash saying that Visual Studio Just-In-Time Debugger has stopped working.
I am using Visual Studio 2015.
