Whatsapp have officially discontinued support for several obsolete OS platforms, incl. WP7, so unfortunately it is no longer possible to get Whatsapp to work on either of your two phones.

Hello,
Ok, after having the generic problem like all Nokia Lumia users (not being able to download any apps from marketplace), I finally followed one of the community members advice and I was able to download Whatsapp.
Well, my joy was short lived because when I tried to go into my Whatsapp, I got this message "Unfortunately, WhatsApp no longer supports this phone. Please switch to a supported phone." then it ends by saying "close WhatsApp".
I surely cannot afford to simply switch to another phone. Does anybody know how I can get my WhatsApp working on the same phone?
I have a Nokia Lumia 510 and a Lumia 800.
Would really appreciate any suggestions.
