C$ missing from Network Drive

A few days ago I used a Fix-It utility to clean up my registry. On completion,  I found that all the file contents on my hard drive C had been removed and placed on a Drive C$ in my network folder. I was unsure as to how I could return these to my C drive and i left my computer running overnight. The following day I was unable to reboot my computer from its sleeping stage and had to switch it off. When restarted, I discovered the C$ folder on the network drive had disappeared. Anyone any suggestions as to how I could recover the missing data, some 400gb?

C$ is your C drive as seen from the network. All hard disks have administrative shares applied designated by the $ symbol appended to the drive letter. These shares are normally hidden

Check Computer Management > System Tools > Shared Folders > Shares to see the list
