Patch Visual C++

Question

i need to patch visual c++ redistributable files but confused on what product to select in Products under Software update point component properties. Please advice.

VC++ runtime updates are not distributed via WU so there is no configuration for this in ConfigMgr (or WSUS). You must use a manually created application or package.

Thank you for posting in Microsoft Q&A forum.
Updates may not available for Visual C++.
We may download Microsoft Visual C++ xxxx Redistributable (x64) and deploy it by an application or package.
