windows embedded ram drive controller

Hello Everyone!!

My name is omri and i have a Question about Windows RAM Drive Controller and:

  1. why is it a default setting in Embedded (WIN 7)?
  2. is it OK to disable it (Performance wise)?
  3. are there any exploits that are known on the subject?
  4. if no ram drive is configured, why do i need this option?
