Assuming SafeBytes driver assist, was a Microsoft approved product, plus the fact that my computer was acting up I did their driver update,,,, now nothing works, can't connect to my WiFi  wireless devices don't work, and it is not restoring previous drivers, so now what? Is it safe to remove the product as previous posters have instructed, or will I be stuck with the so called updates that have made my computer useless?

It is not a Microsoft approved product.

  Follow the steps here.

If it is not listed in the Control Panel, or it can't be removed
there, move on to step 2. You might be able to skip the step with
HitmanPro. (30 day free trial if needed)
