Hello,

Yes. You can perform the following troubleshooting steps:

  1. Change your internet connection from data to Wi-Fi or Wi-Fi to data.
  2. Check for Windows updates available for your phone.

3. Change your regional settings that matches your Microsoft Account.

  • Go to SettingsTime & Language > Regions.

4. Go to Downloads, cancel all the pending downloads then restart your phone.

  1. Check if you have enough storage on your phone to install the application.

6. Update your Microsoft Account information.

For the detailed information of the steps, you can visit this link onWhat to do if I cannot download or update apps from Store on my Lumia.

Let us know how it goes.

    Good day,

    I'm having the same problem.

WhatsApp stopped working. I checked for updates but there where none recently I also checked for a Windows Update. Restarted a couple of times. Changed my region to a different country and back. Finally uninstalled WhatsApp and tried to reinstall it but now I receive the same error: Code: 0x80073CF9.

Please don't  advise me to hard reset :-(

I received this code too, but for a different app.

I was recently sent a replacement Lumia 650.

After many attempts, everything has downloaded. The problems were text messages and phone logs.

Now the problem is Outlook Calendar & Mail app. The basic one is installed as part of Windows 10. It wants to update, to which I constantly get this error code.

I've turned my phone off and on several times. I've updated the OS to the latest Win 10 version. I've deleted pending updates (this one) several times. I've checked my time settings (switched to manual as instructed), and changed the regional (manually set instead of "same as phone settings). I've check my Live account profile to make sure my birthdate matches.

Still I get this error message.

I have to add Deepak at B2x is trying really hard!
