Windows Defender Update

Question

I am attempting to update windows defender and receive the following Error Code -2145107921

Error Description: A unexpected problem occurred while checking for updates. For information on installing or troubleshooting updates

1. Yes I have updated to Creators
2. No I have no other anti virus installed on the computer
3. Yes I have the Firewall turned on
4. Several Logitech Processes

    Several Nvidia Processes

    Several RTSS Processes

    Several Steam Processes

    Several Epson Processes

    And the rest appear to be windows processes

Also I cannot do  Windows update check

I can't believe you guys still have no answer to this. This problem have existed for almost 2 years and tens of thousands had asked for a solution.
