SharePoint Online – enable or disable "Share" options based on permission

Hi Microsoft SharePoint Online Community

I have a requirement to enable or disable the "Share" option for document library based on SharePoint permissions

I found a way out of the box to control it by adjusting "Access Requests Settings" and "Permission levels"

1) Under "Access Requests Settings" the option "Allow members to share the site and individual files and folders" must be checked
2) Create a copy of the "Contribute" permission level and uncheck "User Self -Service Site Creation"

And I would like to ask you "Microsoft SharePoint Online Community", if I can use this solution in Production?

Per my test, result is the same as the article you provided, and we could use this solution in Production.
