Error Code 800700C1 windows updates

Can someone help me - my system runs windows RT8.1.  Have been getting error code 800700C1 doing windows updates since an office 365 update on 28th May 2017. Have checked file explorer windows\software distribution\downloads. Looks as though the place where updates go to have changed from original settings. Keeps asking me to connect my passport drive (F) where I had saved a backup after a request from my Security programme on 15th May 2017.  How do I get back to point to correct configuration?? Any help appreciated.
