My friend reformatted my laptop, and he successfully reformat it. He updated windows based on windows update. Then the next morning, When he turn on my laptop(hp), black screen appears and there's a note :System Information" all the details of the system.
then below "Esc to continue", when I clicked Esc, it will restart again and the same problem over and over again.... I dont know what to do anymore, Can anybody help me how to fix this?

There appears to be an important step missing in your description. Before your friend can "update" Windows he needs to install it. How? Where from?
If the boot environment is damaged then tapping F8 at boot time would boot the machine into the Windows Repair environment from where he could select the option to repair the boot environment.
