Restore power button on taskbar
I recently updated to Windows 8.1 from 8, after getting a virus and doing a restore. Now my taskbar power button doesn't work, so removed it from the taskbar. How do I replace it?

2017-10-01T13:26:21+00:00 Hi,
Are you referring to the power icon near the date/time, as this is a Windows 8.1 forum?
If you are, click the very small Up arrow to the left of date/time > then Customize > under Power Icons and Behaviours click on Show icon and notifications.
Cheers.

You right click on the far left icon in the Taskbar > then Shut down or sign out > etc. in Windows 8.1
What red button?
