No need to worry, as this is a known issue for Windows 8.1 and Windows RT operating system and we are working for the fix. Even though we don't have an estimated time for the fix, you may get back to us and check for the status of the issue.
For the time being, you may create a local account for your log in. You may try to re-attach your Microsoft account as a connected account once the issue gets resolved. Logging in with a local Windows account will still make your systems secure.
You may still access your Microsoft Online assets such as your Outlook.com, OneDrive, etc. with your Microsoft account.
