Computer in Reboot Loop

I have a Panasonic CF-53. It has Windows 7 installed.

I restarted my computer in safe mode, because I was having issues getting a program to run. I couldn't press f8 at startup or any other key to reach safe mode. So I entered msconfig and selected safe mode from there. When I rebooted the computer, it booted to the login screen in safe mode and then just rebooted. It always reboots before I'm able to login.

I tried a recovery disc, but that doesn't work. It is not listing any operating system there for me to select and attempt to recover.

I booted to a install disc and tried startup repair. That didn't work. I launched the command prompt and tried using bcdedit to change boot from safe mode to normal. I get the error "The boot configuration data store could not be opened. The system cannot find the file specified." When I go into diskpart, select disk, and list the volumes, it shows my C drive filesystem as "Raw".

My guess is this is why I can't use bcdedit. I'm out of ideas on how to get my computer to boot into normal mode instead of safe mode. Any help is appreciated.

Another possible option would be running a hardware diagnostic. Hardware Diagnostic is a method of finding problems with the computer's hardware system. We suggest directly contacting the device manufacturer to check any hardware issue.

    Thanks for the reply Jan.

I don't believe it to be corrupted, though. I know it may seem that way, but I wasn't having any issues with the computer. I think it's just a coincidence that I tried booting into safe mode and haven't been able to get back in. There has to be something to try that I haven't already done.

    Hi Rick,

System corruption is one of the reasons why the drive C is being recognize as a raw drive. We suggest performing a clean install to reprogram the hard drive.
