    Hi Shiela,

A few possible reasons can cause this error message. To help us identify the cause of this issue, we would like to know the following information:

    • Are you using the software provided by your device to print labels?
    • Were you able to print labels in the past?
    • Have you made any changes to your computer before experiencing this issue?
    • What troubleshooting steps have you tried so far?

In the meantime, we suggest that you check if you have the latest device driver for your printer. While it's likely you already have the most recent driver, if you're having trouble with a device, you can try fixing it by updating the driver or reinstalling it. If Windows doesn't find a new driver, you can try looking for one on the device manufacturer's website and follow their instructions.

Keep us updated on the status of the issue, and we will be glad to assist you further.

Sorry for the delay in my response.  I have tried a lot of things to resolve this issue.  But, to answer your questions:

I am using the software provided by my device to print labels

I was able to print labels in the past.

I have downloaded a bunch of Windows 8.1 updates.  The printer stopped working after I downloaded the updates.  I have another printer that was not working and I reloaded the software to get it working again.  This was just before my DYMO stopped working.

I have contacted DYMO and they suggested I do a number of things.

They said the issue was not with DYMO but with Windows, that this type of error is usually caused by a Windows update, specifically KB2670838, and that I should remove this update.  However, I cannot find this update to remove it.

They suggested I reload the DYMO software, which I did.

They suggested that I go to htty://windows.microsoft.com/en-us/windows-vista/remove-an-update, which I did but it didn't work.

They suggested that I use Microsoft's Fix it Solution Center but this fix-it program is no longer available.

They suggested I try CCleaner, which I did but it didn't work.

So, as you can see, I have tried a lot of things but it still won't print and I still get the same message about the Print Ticket provider failed to bind to the printer.  Win32 error 2147418113.
