I have an NES mini that I am trying to connect to my laptop which has Windows 8. It keeps telling me the drivers have not been found. This is a plug & play. It is plugged in with an HDMI cable and a USB cable. I get sound when I first turn it on, but nothing else.

Laptops should support HDMI depending on the make and model. We suggest that you try checking if there's an available driver for your NES mini from the Nintendo website. For the meantime, you may continue using your TV as your console monitor.

    Keep us posted.

I just got this as a gift so this is the first time I have connected to any device. I have now connected to my TV and it works fine.  My grandson thinks my computer does not support HDMI output. Is this possible?
