Problem trying to open draft message

Anonymous

I have been drafting an email over a few days and have saved it and then returned to it a number of times with no problems. I now get a message - "a problem occurred while trying to open this message. A problem has occurred. Please try again"  I have tried several times and still get the same message. Is there any way to open the message?  it wont even let me look at the message properties. What is the likely cause for this message? Or am I going to have to retype the whole thing again, which will be really annoying

You may be able to find a recent copy of the draft in your store folder. Copy the text in the box:

    FOR /F "TOKENS=4* SKIP=1" %A IN ('REG QUERY "HKCU\Software\Microsoft\Windows Live Mail" /V "Store Root"') DO @CALL explorer %A %B &<br> EXIT

Press Windows key + R, type cmd and press Enter to open a command window. Right-click inside it, select Paste and press Enter to run the command. This should open your store folder for you.

Now look for the folder for the account whose drafts folder you were saving in. It will probably be called something like Domain (username), based on the email address. Open it and look for a recent file in its Drafts folder. Message files have names like 43467A36-000012D2.eml and should open in Windows Live Mail if you double-click on one.
