I am trying to link a windows 10 to a windows 7 laptop via homegroup. The windows 10 can access files on the windows 7 laptop. However, the windows 7 can only see one folder on the windows 10. It has the name default.migrated. How can I get past that to access the files like I could before upgrading to windows 10?

On your laptop which is using Windows 7, have you tried running Homegroup trouble shooting? If you have done so and it is not working, please click here and find the answer as posted by Nettlebane.
