Cannot access namespace

Hey guys,

This is an odd one.  Recently a client of mine just had one of their DCs go completely down.  It was a part of both dfs replication and dfs namespace.  We are currently waiting on a new motherboard to fix it.  The day the server crashed, I was able to get everyone mapped to \domain.local\shared folder but now when I browse to it the folder is empty.  Browsing to \servername\shared folder works.

If I go dfs management I see a namespace called \domain.local\data.  If I try to expand it I get an error which states, "\namespace.local\data: The namespace cannot be queried.  The specified domain either does not exist or could not be contacted"

I have tried turning the firewall off and then readding it, specifying the name of the server that is currently up and running and no luck with that.

I have verified that the DFS replication and DFS Namespace services were running.  I have tried restarting the namespace service.  I have also tried setting the DFS Namespace service to delayed start and then rebooting the server, as I have read that AD needs to start before the Namespace service.

I have also tried removing the glue record for the name servers, flusing the dns cache and then I readded the old server after I saw that it did not resolve the issue.

Any suggestions?
