Hi,

I have a problem which I cannot find any solutions for. The MSDTC cannot start and I get a very little information about it. I don't know where to start with it.

The error from the Event Viewer:

Failed to initialize the needed name objects. Error Specifics: hr = 0x80004005, com\complus\dtc\dtc\msdtcprx\src\dtcinit.cpp:575, CmdLine: C:\Windows\system32\dllhost.exe /Processid:{02D4B3F1-FD88-11D1-960D-00805FC79235}, Pid: 3040

The error I get when I try to open COM+ Applications from the Component Services (under My Computer).

8004E00F-COM+ unable to talk to Microsoft Distributed Transaction Coordinator

I'm on Windows Server 2012.

Please help me solve this issue.

Thanks,

Lajos
